We have a vast amount of experience and knowledge on machine guard design. We also are experienced in training on others on how to access machine hazards and the most modern guarding technology.

  • The Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout): Our experience reveals that adequate training in machine hazards is an in-depth knowledge of controlling all the energy that allows a machine to operate. Q: Who should take the General Industry OSHA 10 & 30 Hour (commonly called Outreach Training)?
A: All employees, supervisors, and managers in manufacturing, warehousing, and other industries vigorously benefit from this program. The 10-Hour course is ideal for employees that need a basic understanding of OSHA requirements. Although good for all employees 10-Hour is highly recommended for all Supervisors, Engineers (especially those that procure machines and equipment), and Safety Team Employees.

The 30-Hour course is designed for those in leadership roles. This is more in-depth training and provides more variety in the topics trained. Manufacturing Managers, Plant Managers, Human Resources Managers, Safety Team Leaders, Environmental, Health, and Safety Managers, and anyone highly interested in employee Health and Safety will find this course beneficial.

This training offers flexibility and adaptability in content and delivery.
A: Employees must be retrained to operate PITS:
  1. At least every 3 years
  2. Whenever the employer judges an employee needs their competencies enhanced to keep other employees safe, such as the operator has an accident.
